The Electric Kiwi & ChargeNet partnership allows you to pay ChargeNet charges to your regular Electric Kiwi (our) bill.
You can charge your plug-in electric vehicle (EV) at participating ChargeNet charging stations and have your ChargeNet charges added to your regular bill.
1.1
To be eligible to add ChargeNet charges to your Electric Kiwi bill, you must:
2.1
You’ll get your ChargeNet charges billed to you via us from the date your application is accepted by us (and notified to you by ChargeNet).
2.2
You’ll be able to charge your EV at participating ChargeNet public charging stations.
3.1
You'll be charged for the power consumed over a session connected to a ChargeNet charger on your Electric Kiwi bill, based on the prices set by ChargeNet at a charging station level. For a full list of current charging rates, go to the Start Charge page at app.charge.net.nz.
3.2
Whenever you have a positive balance in your ChargeNet account, the credit on that account will be used first and then the remainder will be billed via your Electric Kiwi account.
3.3
The ability to pay your ChargeNet charges via your Electric Kiwi bill does not apply to other ChargeNet charges, for example ChargeNet's fob key charges. Any such charges are billed and payable to ChargeNet directly.
4.1
You can submit a request for ChargeNet charges to be paid via your Electric Kiwi bill by going to the landing page and entering in the required information.
4.2
Once your request is approved by Electric Kiwi you will receive a confirmation email from us and ChargeNet.
5.1
You must provide us 3 days notice if you wish to stop paying your ChargeNet charges via your Electric Kiwi bill. You will be required to pay any outstanding balances.
6.1
There may be a few instances where Electric Kiwi will disable the ability to pay your ChargeNet charges on your Electric Kiwi bill, these are:
6.2
A fair use policy applies when charging your EV. Your charging must not be excessive or unreasonable. If it is, we may need to unlink your ChargeNet charges from our bill, but we will let you know in advance.
6.3
We may not always offer the option to have your ChargeNet charges on our bill and reserve the right to end the plan and disable your ChargeNet charges at any time if we choose to. We will tell you if we are going to do this.
6.4
If your services are terminated for any reason you must still pay us for your use of the services provided to you up to the date of termination which may also include charges to the end of your billing period.
7.1
Our Privacy Policy forms part of our agreement with you.
7.2
In order to enable your ChargeNet charges to be billed on your Electric Kiwi account, we need to collect information about your ChargeNet subscription. You agree to provide this to us.
8.1
Electric Kiwi Power - Standard Terms and Conditions also apply to the billing of your ChargeNet charges on your Electric account.
8.2
