Don't let its small size fool you, the Orbi packs quite the punch!
Follow the easy steps below to get up and running. Have a TP-Link router? Go here.
A - Netgear Orbi Modem

Once the modem is connected, it’s best to download the Orbi app to set up your WiFi. Alternatively, scan the QR code on the front of the modem to quickly connect, or:
Use the Orbi app to set up, and get the most from your WiFi connection - it’s packed full of features.
Change passwords, share login details with guests, monitor your usage, set up parental controls, and more.
Compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
Check out our dedicated Orbi set up guide, which includes some more in-depth instructions on set up via the app.
If your property is especially large, you may have ordered an extra mesh unit to connect to your router.
It's best to fully install your main router first, then “add on” any satellites afterwards.
Check out our mesh network setup guide for more info.
To connect via Ethernet, plug an extra Ethernet cable into any of the Ethernet ports on the modem and plug the other end into your device (e.g. PC, TV, or game console).

If you'd like to update these details manually without the app, see our FAQ's below.

Note: After these details are changed, you may need to reconnect other devices to your network.
We recommended that you download the app if you can, as it's generally much easier to set up this way (and easier for the team to help with any potential issues in future if you need it).
If needed, you can complete the set up and change your password via your web browser. Just follow these steps:
Your Orbi should now be set up and ready to use. Open a new browser tab and try searching something like "weather" or "news" on Google. You can also test other apps to confirm your connection is working properly.
