Service Overview
Service Description
The Choice Plan is a standalone mobile service for personal customers.
Availability
Kiwi Mobile is available throughout New Zealand via the 2Degrees network. For an updated map of locations Kiwi Mobile service is available see electrickiwi.co.nz/mobile/coverage.
Service Charge
The standard daily price for each tier of max speed data (exluding any discounts) on The Kiwi Mobile Choice Plan is set out below:
- 5GB at $1.30 per day
- 10GB at $1.60 per day
- 20GB at $1.90 per day
- 40GB at $2.00 per day
- ∞GB at $2.10 per day

The Choice plan includes unlimited calls and texts to standard New Zealand and Australian numbers. This is subject to our Fair Use Policy and special plan terms which can be found at electrickiwi.co.nz/legal/mobile/fair-use-policy and electrickiwi.co.nz/legal/mobile/choice-special-terms.
Additional data charges

We will give you advanced notice if circumstances arise or are likely to arise that may result in any additional fees, and we will let you know the amount of the fee and the reason for it.
It will also be outlined if there is something you can do to avoid incurring the fee. If you ask for a product or service that involves an additional cost, we will tell you the amount (where that cost is known) or provide an estimate of that cost.
Service Overview
Network performance
Mobile network performance can be affected by many factors and the speeds and coverage that you experience could be different.
Actual coverage may vary based on device and other environmental factors like weather, location, and your movement between cell towers.
Kiwi Mobile leverages the 2Degrees network which has at least 3G coverage in 98.5% of the places Kiwis live & work.

If the Mobile Services are unavailable for any reason, we will endeavour to work with the relevant Network Providers or service providers to restore them as soon as possible.

Minimum Contract Period
The Kiwi Mobile Choice Plan has no minimum fixed term.

Traffic Management
We may use traffic prioritisation policies for our plans at any time to improve the overall performance amongst our customers.

Our Fair Use Policy has been developed by reference to average customer profiles and estimated customer usage of our services. From time to time, we and/or our network providers may monitor usage patterns.
